Celtic at Oxford
Celtic is available at the postgraduate level, with both a one-year Master of Studies and a two-year Master of Philosophy course: both can lead on to the D.Phil. The course for the M.St. in Celtic Studies provides a valuable qualification and focus for those students, particularly from overseas, who are able to spend only one year at Oxford.
The M.Phil. course offers a wide range of subjects, including Celtic Archaeology, Art, History, and Law in addition to Language and Literature, with the chance of concentrating on aspects of the history and culture of Celtic peoples from antiquity to the present day.
